Which denim option fits your brand?

A quick comparison
Option Look & construction Best for
Acid wash Marbled, high-contrast color variation Statement denim; approve shade and contrast on a sample
Distressed Whiskering, abrasion, rips or tears Worn-in styles with agreed distress placement and intensity
Raw / selvedge Raw: unwashed denim. Selvedge: a self-finished fabric edge. Fabric-led collections; confirm construction and wash state separately

Raw describes the unwashed state of denim; selvedge describes its fabric construction. Raw denim does not have to be selvedge, and selvedge denim can be washed. Confirm available combinations before sampling. Acid wash and distressing can also be combined where the fabric and design allow; raw denim develops wear patterns during use rather than receiving a factory wash.

Fit & sizing range

What we can produce

Our standard jeans size range is 28–40, with straight, slim and relaxed/baggy fits. Women's and unisex blocks are available on request. Share your size chart or fit reference so waist, rise, thigh, inseam and leg opening can be agreed as finished-garment measurements; a size label alone is not a measurement specification. Confirm grading, measurement tolerances and the measurement stage before approving the sample.

In-house wash and finish development

Garment washing capability

Our in-house washing capability supports sample-led finish development. For washed jeans, use an approved physical reference to agree shade, contrast, distress placement and acceptable variation. Fabric composition and weight affect the result, so feasibility should be checked on the chosen denim. Raw denim is supplied without a garment wash; natural wear fading is distinct from a factory-applied faded effect. See our garment washing capabilities →

Agree quality checks before production

Quality & inspection
Wash reference Fit measurements Stitching checks AQL inspection NDAs on request

Pre-shipment inspection covers wash consistency, fit measurements and stitching. AQL acceptance sampling checks a sample from a production lot; it does not mean that every garment has been inspected. Agree the sampling plan, defect categories, measurement tolerances and corrective action before bulk production. If your order needs specific certification or audit coverage, request current documents and confirm the named holder, validity and applicable facility, materials or finished products before placing the order.

Jeans manufacturing FAQs

What's your minimum order for custom jeans?
The standard minimum is 50 pieces per style and colorway, with sizes mixed within that run. Confirm how separate wash variants are grouped in your quotation. Custom fabrics and branded hardware may have additional minimums. See MOQ and pricing details.
Can you match a wash or distress level from a reference pair?
Send the reference garment or clear photographs so we can assess feasibility. A physical sample is used to agree shade, contrast and distress placement before bulk production. Fabric and treatment variation can affect the result, so agree acceptable variation rather than assuming every pair will be identical.
What is the difference between raw and selvedge denim?
Raw denim has not received a garment wash. Selvedge describes the fabric's self-finished edge. Denim can be both raw and selvedge, but the terms are not interchangeable. Tell us the construction and wash state you need so fabric availability, weight and shrinkage requirements can be confirmed.
How long does bulk production take after sample approval?
Bulk production typically takes 25–35 days after sample approval, depending on quantity and treatment complexity. Confirm the production calendar and dispatch date in your quotation; freight transit is separate. Sampling typically takes 7–15 business days from confirmed specifications. See shipping and lead-time information.
What affects the price of custom jeans?
Fabric composition and weight, quantity, fit complexity, wash treatment, distressing, embroidery and branded hardware affect the quote. Provide your quantity by size, reference and delivery destination. Sample fees are quoted upfront and credited against your first bulk order. Confirm setup, packaging, courier and shipping costs in your quotation.
What sizing and fit range can you produce?
Our standard size range is 28–40 in straight, slim and relaxed/baggy fits. Women's and unisex blocks are available on request. Share your size chart, pattern or reference garment; confirm waist, rise, thigh, inseam, leg opening and grading as finished-garment specifications. Ask about sizes outside the standard range before sampling.
