Which program fits your design?

Screen printing often suits simple logos and solid-color graphics at larger quantities. Screen preparation adds setup cost, while ink, labor, and curing contribute to each piece. The most economical method depends on quantity, print area, placements, and artwork. Puff printing adds a raised finish and usually suits bold shapes better than fine lines.

Embroidery adds stitched texture to logos; thread, stitch density, fabric, and care affect the result. DTG prints directly onto the garment, while DTF prints onto film before adhesive processing and heat transfer. Both can suit photographs and gradients without separate screens for each color. Screen printing can also reproduce complex artwork with suitable separations; compare a sample and quotation before choosing.

Heather and slub describe fabric characteristics, not decoration methods. Heather creates a mixed-color appearance; slub yarn creates an uneven texture. They may be used separately or together. Printing or embroidery compatibility depends on the selected fabric and artwork, so approve the combination on a physical sample.

Fabric weight and what drives the price

GSM means grams per square meter, a measure of fabric weight. Composition, knit construction, and yarn affect drape, texture, and decoration compatibility. Heather and slub must be selected as fabric characteristics; they are not finishes added to an ordinary jersey after production. For available construction options, see the yarn & fabric techniques hub.

Price depends on fabric, quantity, artwork preparation, print area or stitch count, placements, labels, packaging, and finishing. Confirm whether sampling and freight are included in your quote. For minimum-order and pricing details, see MOQ and pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What's the MOQ for custom t-shirts?
The standard MOQ is 50 pieces per style and garment colorway. Size splits, multiple artwork versions, and combined decorations must be confirmed in the quotation. A second garment colorway has its own minimum; adding a decoration affects pricing and feasibility rather than automatically doubling the quantity.
Can I combine two programs on the same t-shirt?
Multiple techniques can be used on one garment when the fabric, placements, and processing sequence are compatible. Separate print and embroidery placements are one option. Overlapping finishes need sample testing; compatibility and any extra charges are confirmed after artwork review.
Which program is cheapest at low volume?
DTG or DTF can be economical for small runs of full-color artwork because they do not require per-color screens. Artwork preparation, materials, and handling still affect cost. Simple graphics may be competitive with screen printing, so compare quotations for the same garment, quantity, and placements.
What fabric options are available for t-shirts?
Jersey and heather/slub options are available for review. Confirm composition, GSM, fit, size range, and colors in your specification. Heather describes a mixed-color appearance; slub describes yarn texture. Match the chosen fabric to the decoration on an approved sample.
How long does a full order take, start to finish?
We aim to review complete inquiries within 2 business days. Sampling is estimated at 7–15 business days once requirements and materials are confirmed; bulk production is estimated at 25–35 days after sample approval. These are separate stages, not a delivered-order guarantee. Your quotation confirms the bulk day basis, start conditions, QC schedule, revisions, and shipping time.
