Where is the factory in Humen, Dongguan?
Plan your factory visitFORGEMFG is based in Humen, Dongguan, Guangdong. When evaluating a streetwear supplier, check where fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing and finishing take place. Our listed address is 3rd Floor, Yongyu Building, Wangwu Dawei, Humen, Dongguan, Guangdong, China. Request a location pin and an appointment before travelling. Journey time from Shenzhen depends on your starting point, transport and traffic; confirm the route with our team when arranging your visit.
Before production, agree the approved sample, measurements, finish references and inspection plan. Review the production areas below and our quality control section.
How production is organised: eight areas
Cutting to shippingThe production areas below cover the main stages and optional finishes used in our garment programs. Each order follows the route required by its approved specification; not every garment needs washing, printing, embroidery or denim finishing. Confirm the sequence and the location of each required process during the feasibility review.
| Production area | What happens there | Why it matters to your order |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Cutting & spreading | Fabric is laid out and cut to the approved pattern. | Helps control panel accuracy and shade grouping within a lot. |
| 2. Sewing floor | Panels are assembled into finished garments. | Construction and measurements are checked against the approved specification. |
| 3. Garment washing | Acid, snow, vintage and enzyme washes. See garment washing capabilities. | Wash results vary by batch, so approved standards are kept for comparison. |
| 4. Screen & puff print | Ink is applied, then cured in a drying tunnel. See printing & embellishment. | Curing controls durability and the raised finish on puff prints. |
| 5. Embroidery | Chainstitch and other embroidery on approved placements. | Placement and stitch density are checked against the tech pack. |
| 6. Denim finishing | Fading and distressing where specified; selvedge construction is planned with the fabric and cutting route. | Hand-finished detail is confirmed on the sample before bulk. |
| 7. Final QC | Pre-shipment checks against an agreed inspection plan, recorded in a report. | Agree defect categories, sampling requirements and corrective action before production. |
| 8. Packing & shipping | Labelling, cartoning and handover to freight. | Lead time and terms are covered on shipping & lead time. |

The people who run production, and how the factory grew
Named, reachableOur company history records FORGEMFG’s start in 2013 as a six-person sampling workshop founded by Liu Minghao in Humen. The production team includes Deng Xianqi, Production Manager; Liu Jiasheng, QC Lead; and Andy Yu, Merchandiser for English- and Chinese-speaking buyers. Send your tech pack or reference garment so the team can review feasibility, specifications and the proposed production route.

Adds an in-house garment washing line: acid, snow and enzyme wash under one roof.

What can a buyer actually verify?
Claim → evidenceBefore relying on a certification or factory claim, match the document holder and covered address to the company handling your order. The checks below explain what to request. A historic certificate or audit milestone does not establish current validity, and a material certificate does not automatically cover every finished garment.
| Verification topic | Evidence you can request | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001:2015 | Holder, certificate number, issuing body, covered site, scope and validity dates | A quality management system. See the ISO 9001:2015 standard. |
| amfori BSCI audit | Audited entity and site, latest audit date, report reference and result | Social compliance findings for the audited site and date; review the report and any corrective actions. |
| OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 | Holder, certificate number, covered articles, product class and validity | Harmful-substance testing within the stated article scope. Verify the number using the official OEKO-TEX Label Check. |
| Inspection plan and AQL | Redacted QC report, inspection standard, level, defect categories, sample size and acceptance criteria | AQL 2.5 / 4.0 values alone are not a complete inspection plan. Acceptance sampling assesses a lot from a sample; it is distinct from checking every piece. |
| Business identity and production site | Registered company name, business licence, contracting entity, site address and a live tour | Match the legal entity to the quotation and documents, and confirm the relationship between the FORGEMFG brand and the production site. |
Request the documents relevant to your order through buyer registration. Check their scope, dates and holder with the issuer before relying on them. See certifications & sustainability for more detail. Public certificate numbers and validity dates are not listed in this overview; confirm current documentation before ordering.
Three ways to audit the factory before you order
Remote or on siteBuyers can review documents, request a live video tour or arrange an on-site visit. These checks help assess a supplier before sampling; a sales tour does not replace an independent technical or social compliance audit. If you need a third-party inspection, agree access and scope before ordering.
Review the documents
Request the business identity, relevant certificate details and a redacted QC report. Check the holder, covered site, scope and dates against the issuer’s records.
Join a live video tour
Request a weekday appointment in China Standard Time (UTC+8). Specify the production areas you want to see so the team can confirm access and availability.
Visit in person
Arrange an appointment at the Humen site and confirm the address before travelling. Bring a reference garment or tech pack and agree which production areas to review.
If you have not audited a China garment factory remotely before, the factory audit guide lists the documents, video-call checkpoints and red flags worth checking.
Which brands the Studio is set up for
Three programsNew brands can request tech pack support and a sampling quotation. Our stated sampling range is 7–15 business days; confirm the start conditions, material availability, revisions and shipping separately in your quote. Scaling brands can discuss multi-style scheduling and QC checkpoints. Established labels can request volume pricing, account support and order-specific compliance documents.
The standard garment MOQ starts at 50 pieces per style and colorway. Custom fabrics, dyeing and individual wash grades may have separate minimums, confirmed during feasibility review. Sample quantities are agreed separately from bulk-production minimums. If you do not yet have a tech pack, tech pack support turns a sketch or reference garment into production specifications. Sampling costs and timelines are on the sampling process page, and order minimums and price tiers are on MOQ and pricing. Buyers importing into a specific market can start with the guides for US buyers or European buyers, and the full sample gallery shows finished work.
